JNTUK Allows Pharmacy Colleges New PG Courses

In a meeting addressed to the principals of the pharmacy colleges affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinda, Vice chancellor of JNTUK, Prof Allam Apparao, declared that these colleges have been permitted to open fresh new post graduate courses M.Sc Chemistry and M.Tech Bio-technology from the next academic year.

Also included in the declaration was the starting up of an integrated five years M.Pharma course. Apparao emphasized the improvements the pharmacy colleges must make in their managements and infrastructure.

Prof T Satya Prasad, Director of Evaluation,requested the colleges to reveal the actual experience of their respective staff members so that proper evaluation must be made and steps taken accordingly as many colleges had previously `misinformed ‘the university that led to a lot of confusion.
