The official figure right now of the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh flood-killed victims stands wobbling at 275 and ominously trying to rise to some more devastating figure. Rains have receded and rescue operations are on but that hardly makes the situation more favourable as more and more trapped bodies are discovered.
