Its time to tighten security. The metros are under alert. Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata have gone under scanner after rumours and hints about the presence of LeT militants loomed over the cities. Apparently, the terror groups have already installed their men for suicide bombings across the metros.

Sources have confirmed that trained suicide squads have been sneaked into India to carry out these suicide bombings and terror activities. This comes few weeks after India silently observed the infamous 26/11 anniversary.

A Delhi Crane overturned and got over another injuring 12 labourers at the propesed Saket Metro site in New Delhi, and leaving two others at a critical stage. “It appears that one crane developed a mechanical snag and lost its balance,” Anuj Dayal, a Delhi Metro official said. The Saket station will link Connaught Place to Gurgaon in neighbouring Haryana. The line is set to open in March 2010. Although Metro officials claim there have been no injuries at the spot, the two injured have been rushed to a near-by hospital.  (more…
